Skialpová túra na Königstuhl je nejlepší trasou v této oblasti, hlavně díky panoramatům na pohoří Nockberge a na Niedere Tauern (Nízké Taury). Snazší výstup vede údolím potoka Krems a výše podél jezera Rosaninsee do sedla Königstuhlscharte. Odtud po plochém západním svahu na vrchol. Sjezd po trase výstupu. Za příznivé lavinové situace je mnohem atraktivnější panoramatická hřebenovka přes Sauereggnock, Vogelsangberg a Seenock. Pozor, místy s exponovanými úseky. Pokud je dobrý sníh, sjeďte z vrcholu Seenock do kotle k jezeru a pokračujte na pásech do sedla a na vrchol. Uvedené údaje platí pro okružní hřebenovou variantu.

The most eastern 3000 peak of the Sexten Alps, a great yet challenging ski tour. In the second half of the tour are steep slopes, over 35 °. A great view of Tre Cime from an unusual angle.

The top of the Gross Wannenhorn is a first-class lookout tower on the largest alpine glacier, the Aletsch glacier and the many 4,000-meter peaks in the Bernese Alps. After a short descent from the Finsteraarhorn Hut over the glacier Fieschergletscher at the foot of the Wannenhorn. During the ascent along a wide slope, watch out for numerous and large crevasses. Finally, the ascent line turns westwards upwards. When driving downhill, copy the exit route and pay attention to crevasses again.
