Boot crampons are indispensable in a steep terrain where it is no longer possible to ascend on skis. Most of the time they are in your backpack, so they should be lightweight and compact. The attaching system to boots is essential for compatibility. Each pair of boot crampons is suitable for a different range of boot sizes. Setting is usually easy, without any tools, you can do that in the evening before your hike. In the overview, we list only crampons that feature anti-balling plates.
