A very popular tour of glacial terrain. Start at Hotel Steingletscher (Sustenpass road, parking) or Tierbergli hütte. From the parking a large elevation of 1700 m. Technically not very demanding tour, but conditionally yes. Route parameters are listed at the start of the Hotel Steingletscher and from the peak of Sustenhorn leads downhill to Tierbergli.

Breithorn can be rated as the lightest 4000 in the Alps. In any case, thanks to the support of the Klein Matterhorn cable car, which transports ski mountaineers up to 3880 m. From the cable car station (beautiful viewpoint) to the glacier plain below the summit, which can be often reached on skis. In good conditions, it is worthwhile to continue to the Schwarztor saddle and drive descent back to Zermatt. The second variant of the freeride is the descent from the Unterer Theodulgletscher. This descent is simply great up to Seehöre 2400.

Festkogel is a very attractive ski tour between the rocks with a breathtaking view of the whole Gesäuse and the Enns valley. From the parking (of the Hesshütte), nearby the restaurant and Hotel Kölblwirt towards the waterfall along the trail. Continue through a steep narrow rock ditch towards the tower Schneekarturm. Around the tower until the last part of the climb. By frequent crossing of steep slopes, the Festkogel is recommended a ski trip in stable conditions.
