- description
- Völkl Rise - The junior touring ski for the optimal entry into the world of ascent. The Rise JR is - together with the Blaze JR - the first junior ski with 3D Radius Sidecut and the first choice for touring youngsters. Of course, there are also matching skins plus accessories for the Rise JR and in combination with a Marker touring binding such as the Alpinist JR, this really is the perfect setup if fun is to be had from day 1. The extremely versatile lightweight JR ski is also good to ski on the slopes, but clearly its strengths are shown in the terrain, both on the ascent and on the descent. The ski copes well with all types of terrain and snow profiles, and turns can be made safely even in choppy or wind-blown snow. In general, the ski impresses with its enormous manoeuvrability and in narrow terrain or forest passages. At the same time, thanks to Tip & Tail Rocker, it requires only little force to release the turn, even at lower speeds.
