Compared to its predecessor, it introduces voice navigation, the ability to separate multiple signals during complex multi-burial scenarios, and Bluetooth technology for enhanced functionality. With the Mammut App, users can manage, configure, and download updates for the device. Unlike the simpler Barryvox 2, the S2 allows for individual customization, including sound navigation, visual navigation, Pro Check, critical data settings, and the definition of detection parameters and time limits for automatic switching to transmit mode in case of a secondary avalanche.
