- description
- The Atomic Backland 80 UL is an ultra-lightweight touring ski from the Fast and Light Touring segment, perfect for demanding summiteers. With a narrow center width of 80 mm and an Ultra Light Woodcore made of poplar and Karuba wood, this ski offers the ideal balance of low weight and outstanding performance. The Carbon Backbone extends the entire length of the ski and stabilizes it like a backbone, while Carbon Fiberglass Composite layers provide additional lightness and strength. HRZN Tech Tip & Tail technology provides 10% more contact area at the tip and tail, resulting in improved float in powder and less bounce in packed snow. The All Mountain Rocker with its early bend at the tip facilitates handling and makes the ski versatile. A special cut-out at the tip of the ski allows quick attachment of Atomic PreFit skins for the ascent. The Backland 80 UL is available in an attractive Black/Blue color combination and offers an ideal combination of efficiency on the ascent and stability
