- The Atomic Backland 101 W is the ideal touring ski for demanding freeride ski tourers looking for both ascent efficiency and downhill performance. Equipped with the FreeTour Profile, it enables powerful skiing and offers low weight and high stability thanks to the Ultra Light Woodcore made of poplar and Karuba wood. The three-dimensional HRZN 3D shovel provides more contact surface and better flotation in deep snow. The Powder Rocker combines a strong lift of the tip and tail with a preload under the binding, resulting in effortless handling and playfulness in powder. The ski has been designed to be more environmentally friendly: By using more wood and less fibreglass, metal and resin, CO2 emissions have been reduced by 26% compared to the Backland 100 from 2022. Developed in collaboration with freeriders like Amie Engerbretson, the Backland 101 W offers the perfect mix of flow and performance. Thanks to the Dura Cap Sidewall, it offers excellent edge grip and high durability. The Ato
