In a remote place in the Obří důl valley there is a house, a mountain hut where peace reigns. The house is easily accessible from the parking lot near the lower station of the cable car to Sněžka. From Bouda pod Sněžkou you can go to the highest czech mountain Sněžka, or in Modrý důl or for a freeride under the cable car to Sněžka. Excellent cuisine, blueberry cake and sauna...

Sněžka is the highest czech mountain. Accessible from the valley Obří důl, the ideal starting point is the mountain hut Bouda pod Sněžkou. It is possible to go on a sightseeing tour with a descent under the Pec - Sněžka cable car. The ascent to Sněžka can be also made from Luční bouda, the polish Dom Slaski and from Děčínská bouda - Růžohorky.

The last, 4th day of the Krkonoše Haute Route begins with a short ascent to Růžová hora. This is followed by a freeride under the rope to Pec pod Sněžkou. From the lower station of the Pec-Sněžka cable car up around the mountain hut Richtrovy Boudy to Výrovka. The last descent through the Dlouhý důl valley to Špindlerův Mlýn.

The ski mountaineering crossing of the highest Czech mountains, the Giant Mountains, begins in Špinlerův Mlýn. Via Horní Mísečky and the edge of Kotelní jáma you climb to Dvoračky and further along the ridge to Labská bouda. The highlight of the tour is the ascent to Vysoké kolo and the subsequent descent to Martinova bouda or Brádlerovy boudy.

Na Sněžku se dá vyrazit nejen z Pece p. Sněžkou, ale také z Velké Úpy. Výstup ulehčí lanovka na Portášky. Dále k Děčínské boudě a pak rozhodování. Buď podél lanovky a Sněžku nebo sjezd do Pece a na Sněžku Obřím dolem.

Výstupová trasa začíná přímo na parkovišti v Mikulově. Jezírko budete mít po pravé straně, parkoviště za zády a před sebou uvidíte první značku (výstup=zelená šipka). Průsekem stoupáme vzhůru přes 1. až na 2. cestu, po které zahýbáme vlevo. Jdeme asi 300 m do levotočivé zatáčky, ve které uhýbáme z cesty doprava strmým výšvihem. Pokračujeme mírně stoupajícím terénem za stálého směřování doprava, blížíme se ke slalomovému svahu, na který vyjdeme cca 200 pod koncem lanovky – kotvy. Jsme na vrcholu Bouřňáku. K sestupu do Mikulova použijte jakoukoliv sjezdovku mimo čísla 6.
