Der Speed-Bergsteiger und Dynafit-Geschäftsführer konnte den Dhaulagiri VII in Bestzeit besteigen. Benedikt Böhm startete seine Speed-Begehung am 15. Oktober im Base Camp des Dhaulagiri VII auf 4.903 m. Bis zum Gipfel auf 7.246 m benötigte der 42-Jährige sechs Stunden und sechs Minuten.

In my defense, my old Pieps DSP has been my trusty companion for years, and hasn’t let me down once, nor has it ever failed a frequency check or had anything else happen that would indicate it was worn out.

Minulý víkend sa v našich horách výrazne ochladilo, teploty klesali pod bod mrazu aj v stredných polohách. Na Lomnickom štíte klesla teplota v noci z nedele na pondelok až na -12°C . Snežiť začalo v najvyšších polohách už v piatok. Hranica sneženia postupne klesala až na cca. 1000 m n.m.. Najviac nasnežilo v sobotu (do 20 cm).
